On April 22, we had the honor of joining Air Force leaders, elected officials, and industry partners at Hill Air Force Base to break ground on a project that represents much more than concrete and steel—it’s a symbol of innovation, commitment, and national purpose.
Engage Contracting is proud to play a supporting role in the construction of Draper’s new 30,000 square foot engineering and innovation facility at Hill AFB. This building will first in a larger group that will house advanced research and development for the Sentinel program and support critical missions of the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. For us, contributing to a facility that will help safeguard our nation’s future is a responsibility we take seriously—and a moment we won’t forget.
“This will not just be an ordinary office building,” said Col. Joseph Hank of the Sentinel Flight Systems Branch. And he’s right. This facility will enable Draper to expand its core capabilities in model-based systems engineering, simulation, guidance and navigation systems, and microelectronics—work that lies at the heart of our nation’s strategic deterrence efforts.
It’s a privilege to work alongside organizations that share our values of excellence, innovation, and integrity. We want to recognize our trade partners Hunt Companies, Woodbury Corporation, and FFKR Architects—exceptional collaborators whose expertise and vision are helping turn this ambitious project into reality.
This groundbreaking isn't just the beginning of a new building. It's the next chapter in a legacy of defense, science, and engineering that stretches back to Draper’s early work on the Minuteman program in the 1950s. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to that legacy—and to continue supporting those who protect and serve.
To everyone involved, thank you.
